So excited to share the final cover for How to Vex a Viscount with you. I continue to be impressed and amazed at the transformation my cover artist Carrie at Seductive Designs is able to make. Take a look at the difference between the initial raw image and the final airbrushed art.
I should probably invite Carrie to come blog about the many steps involved in choosing the right image, cropping, adding background and smoothing away all distracting bits from the original image. She confessed that picking the grass out of Daisy’s hair nearly drove her crazy!
I love this story and I’m so excited that it’s coming soon. It’s really two love stories in one–Lucian and Daisy’s torrid romance as they work together to uncover an ancient Roman treasure, and the love affair between a Celtic slave girl and Caius Meritus–the man who hid the treasure in the first place. I’ll keep you posted about when it’s available. If you’d like to be notified personally, please sign up for my newsletter.
If you’re looking for a fun read this weekend, be sure to check out my Touch of a Thief. It’s an Amazon Top 100 for $3.99 for a limited time and I always want to let readers know when they can get a special bargain. Regency Romance Writer gives it 10 out of 10! “An amazing novel! Mia Marlowe has definitely arrived on the romance scene and is making her mark. A must read for all fans of historical romance!”
Covers are an important part of the whole romance novel experience. What’s your favorite cover of all time?
